PAGES 8&9 PORT ADELAIDE Port River tourist plan Pam Brombal PLANS for a $9 million tourist ac- commodation complex on the Port River frontage have won the back- ing of some local traders and the Port Mayor. As the Portside Messenger repor- ted on adelaidenow last week, Port businessman Hans Ehmann is be- hind plans for the five-storey de- velopment, which have been lodged with Port Adelaide Enfield Council. It would include 61 ser- viced apartments, a conference centre and underground parking, on land next to the Fisherman’s Wharf markets.
